Linear Barriers

Linear barriers protect along the whole length of a run rather than at a single point — available in four heights from 120 to 1100 mm.

Four heights — 120, 300, 600 and 1100 mm — with tube diameters of 60.3 or 76.1 mm allow protection to be matched to what actually strikes in a given place. Low models shield the lower parts of machines, while taller ones act as a continuous barrier along a transport route.

When continuous protection is needed

A hoop protects a point; a linear barrier protects a stretch. The difference matters wherever the hazard has no single address: along a partition wall, beside a production line, at the edge of a pedestrian route. A truck does not strike at a designated spot but wherever room for the manoeuvre happens to run out.

Matching height to the hazard

The 120 mm model shields the lower parts of machines without getting in the operators' way. 300 mm stops wheels and pallets. 600 mm is the level at which most warehouse trucks strike. 1100 mm protects a whole installation and clearly separates zones, visually as well.

Tube diameter and resistance

Ø 60.3 mm suits lighter traffic, Ø 76.1 mm suits loaded counterbalance trucks. Since installation is identical for both diameters, moving up a class comes down to the component alone — on stretches exposed to repeat impacts, that makes the choice obvious.
